Located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, Córdoba was once a major city under both the Roman Empire and the Caliphate of Córdoba. Today, its rich history is reflected in its remarkable architectural heritage, including the Roman Bridge and the historic Jewish Quarter. On this guided day trip from Seville, we’ll travel through the beautiful Andalusian countryside to Carmona, a charming whitewashed village where we’ll stop for a short break. We’ll then continue to Córdoba to explore its historic centre on a guided walking tour, discovering the Roman Bridge, the Jewish Quarter and the city’s famous colourful courtyards. After the tour, enjoy free time to savour local cuisine, follow your guide’s recommendations, have a picnic or browse the local shops before returning to Seville.
